i've been brainwashed!

is it funny that i was just going through a list of names at work and saw the last name "tafoya" (which i think you'll agree is a rather unique name). but, what are the odds? that was my second grade teacher's name - mrs. tafoya.

so naturally and nostalgically, i open up the contact information for this mysterious tafoya entry to see if it is indeed my second grade teacher. i knew right away it wasn't her - her first name wasn't mrs...

and then it occured to me - no matter how old i get, i don't think i'll ever be okay with seeing one of my teachers in the grocery store or knowing they have real lives

here's a second grade teacher story. we had reading time and i was laying on the floor. mrs. nash was wearing a skirt and walked over me, and i saw up her skirt all the way to her underwear. then i felt so so SO dirty. i got over it.

shame on you oldenough. have you talked to your bishop about this? i also said shame on you too becky until you remembered your memories correctly. first grade is still under the age of accountability.

once upon a time i had a substitute teacher named ms marick. she had purple hair and would sing psychotic songs like, 'criss cross apple sauce fold your arms and listen' she smacked me on the head with a yard stick in second grade..but that's a different story for a different day, gets me a tad choked up. anyway, in first grade she made a girl pee her pants 'cause she wouldn't let her go to the bathroom. it was a sad day for all. especially the janitor i'm sure.
