1. she never gets you something she wouldn't be excited to get herself (which isn't that hard to do because you could give her a piece of chewed gum with a bow on it and she'd jump and down with excitement like a...well, like a meghan opening a present)
2. she pays no attention to how old you are when it comes to gift giving. it's way more fun to get toys regardless of your age. period.
so we made this a "play with the toys meghan got us" weekend. starting with the kite she got for the boy's birthday.
once we're done flying it for its last time, we're going to use all those ribbons on the back of it to wrap up lots and lots of chewed gum as a thank you gift for meghan.
and then she came over to help build the boy's christmas present - a tin can robot. the boy had a vision of this video before we even started building the thing that meghan and i just shrugged at and entertained. i took all the pictures while meghan and the boy built. then meghan and i went to play ddr (don't judge us) while the boy went to work creating this masterpiece. i love this guy
